Could you PLEASE answer questions without publishing the entire Bible and Quran in your answer. Honestly, few people read these and often they are given a thumbs down just to close them so we do not have to scroll through them. The same goes for unblievers trying to use Biblical passages to make their points. Give a verse, make people look it up for heavens sake. These long discourses do nothing for any of us and are at least part of why people feel they are being preached to.

Well then I will keep thumbs downing them. This is not Sunday School and I can read my own Bible. Thanks to my Wiccan friend for a reasonable answer.

I agree. Sometimes people just cut and paste rather that think. A link is OK, or even a one or two line quote now and then, but not one that goes on and on. Even I don't read it all. And if people are not going to read it, the poster is wasting their time.

I love to answer questions. But what is yours?
And by the way the reason we quote the Bible is because it is the most recognized authority on Earth.. If you don't want scripture why are you even in this particular category(R&S), not to mention Yahoo! Answers?

People like to state their point with an evidence. I dont think it is wrong. It just that you need to respect and read it with an open mind. Be mindful to the opinion. It is better to have fact then mumbling about something that you dont know.

In my opinion, what we need to do is to understand each other. So, from this we can live better. I hope so.

Allaah warns every Muslim against speaking without knowledge, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And follow not (O man, i.e., say not, or do not, or witness not) that of which you have no knowledge. Verily, the hearing, and the sight, and the heart of each of those ones will be questioned (by Allâh)”[al-Israa’ 17:36]

I for one enjoy having the quotes for clarification. Well, not the muslims; *** what they think. Anyways, it saves me the time of having to skim through a boring book.
