At 100 yards for a pig, either one will do just fine. I'd go with the 100 grain just for the extra knockdown power, those dudes can take a lickin' you know!

If you must hunt pig (at a 100 yards) with a .243 Winchester, then use the heavier bullet and try for a head shot. Something bigger would serve you better especially on the larger, 300 to 400 lb. pigs. I once saw a 500 lb. wild boar take multiple hits from a .30-06 and a .22-250. Five of the six '06 bullets were found flattened out like nickles just under the skin. The last shot, a hit behind the pig's left ear with the .30-06 put him down for good. The '06 was a short-barreled semi-auto carbine.

Yeah .243 with 100 grain points will do just fine. The key here is to have good shot placement. If you put one in the vitals at 100 yards you'll be having wild pig for supper

Well I am a .270 man myself but would have to say that the Winchester would be my choice of ammo.
