He doesnt usually drink and i'm only 11 years old so I really have absolutely no idea how to pay it myself. So I really just need to know what to do in this situation. My mom left me the money and right now I'm hiding it under the keyboard.

Go to someone that you trust and explain the situation to them and find out where the bill is for the mortgage then have them take you there to pay it or get a money order for that money then send it in to the mortgage company. Don't forget to get a reciept for the money. Your mother should have taken care of it her self. It sounds like you need some else to count on since your mother isn't doing a very good job. Your a child who should be doing things your own age. You don't need to be an adult. Your parents need to grow up and take respondsibility. for you, Not the other why around. Good Luck!

Wait until he is sober to give him the money, but the keyboard is not a safe place to keep it. Find a safer place, but remember where you put it.

don't give the money to him. call you mom and tell her about this. stay away with your father if he got drunk again, and be prepare you might need to call the police if he's too drunk. bring a mobile phone with you always.

Keep it well hidden, and ask your mom to please take care of it herself. That is NOT your responsibility. You're much too young to be left with that kind of money! Nor should you be left alone with ANYONE who is drunk.

Good girl...don't tell him where it is...till he is sober.....don't tell him where it is till he gives you at least $50 bucks for finders fee....that is what your fee is each time you have to baby sit his drunk ***!!!

if you are afraid he'll not pay it, found out what bank the house is mortgaged with and pay them directly, don't forget to get a receipt.
