This is easily answered but a good question without a doubt. Butter is sold in the USA in one pound boxes each box contains four seperate wrapped sticks. Each stick is 1/4 of a pound so it would take 3 sticks to make 3/4 of a pound. I hope that I have been some help to you.

If you buy a package that contains 4 sticks of butter, that package will weigh 1 pound. Therefore, each of those sticks weighs one-fourth of a pound. So, three-fourths of a pound would be 3 sticks.
