I know I dont need a passport to fly to the USA from canada untill January 23rd 07. I was wondering if an ontario drivers licence would be suficiant ID to get onto a Flight from Toronto flying into the states. Do you think I would face trouble at customs because I cant find my birth certificate. I am a canadian citizen

No, a drivers license just proves your identity. That is only half the requirement. An American, Mexican, or anyone can go and get a Ontario Drivers license. You need a document that shows you citizenship. That is a passport or a birth certificate.

You may get through. But yes, expect extra questions. And being so close to the passport to fly deadline I wouldn't put it passed them to just say no to you.
