No I am not sad, but very thankful. I remember from the age of three, my Father would dress in his nice and only suit. Pack all eight of us kids in his rickety old car and off to church we would go. He always took us, every Sundag, Dad was full Norwegian as was my Mother. Dad could sing so nice in church and I love to hear him sing all the beautiful Christian songs. He sang Norwegian , beautifully. He took us to all the events. My special memory and Love was the Christmas tree program. We learned about the Baby Jesus and all the wonderful Bible verses. Since the age of three, I would go and never wanted to miss. I even sang in the choir as I got older. I always want to go into the House of the Lord. It is so wonderful to know the truth about what happened. Dad worked in a coal yard. Many times he came home in his old rickety car, all covered with coal dust. Sometimes we could only see the whites of his eyes. My parents were both White Full Norwegian. But many times when Dad came home from the coal yard, we all thought he was Black. I loved my religious upbringing. I Loved my Father for what he taught us, even on the days that he was Black or White.

That sounds pretty racist. Anyway, I do not regret being taught Christianity by my white father (and buddhism by my Asian mother). My father belonged to a Christian Cult that followed a path of denial, and taught occult lessons without even knowing what they were really doing: channeling, gematria, astrology, etc.
Now my father wonders why I grew up to be an occultist :-P

Yes I am. I wasted a lot of time and energy on religion. My parents are white with Native American blood in their veins.

Hmm? I'm Native American.. I'm sorry, but are you racist? Bad! No!
I'm very glad I wasn't taught anything christian. Otherwise I would be dead for having ADHD.
