Try "petfinders" on the net. They take listings (usually over 50,000 dogs, I think) from pounds and rescues nationwide and more. Quite a few are puppies. There is a wide range of "prices", most are very very reasonable, and the animals are usually up to date on shots. Most of these agencies require that the animal be spayed or neutered before adoption, for obvious reasons. Some will ship. My cocker spaniel says good luck, lol.

you can try the humane society and you can also email or contact a breeder of cocker spaniels. Or you can email a friend of mine who rescues and works with a lot of breeders.

www.petfinder.com - Lots of pet listings from breeders, some shelters, citizens who choose to rehome their pets, etc.

www.petharbor.com - Animal shelters, ASPCA, humane societies.

Please consider adopting from a shelter or rescue group as your first option! Good luck!

Look in your local newspaper. They should have a section for pets who need a loving home.
