My boyfriend said he was going to show up for something, and he never did..He left me hanging, hopelessly in vain..out on a limb..
I want to write him an email, and say something terrible sarcastic,
that gives him the hint that I'm p issed off as hell..
All I can come up with it is: 'next time you want to abandon me,you may want to give me a warning..'
I want to say something more sarcastic, because I felt bad what he did to me..and I'm usually a very sarcastic person..
So, I need help with this..your help is greatly appreciated..
thanks..

p.s. yes,i'm serious..

What you were thinking about saying to him is not very sarcastic at all... if he doesn't know for sure that you went (like you stood him up instead, but you think he went) say somehing like, "Oh, I'm so sorry that I didn't show up the other night... I completely forgot... and I feel so bad for leaving you hanging. Did you have a good time without me though?" See what his response will be.

You could try being honest like: (actually what you had above definitely conveys your sentiments)

Hi I had a great time that other day, although you left me hanging, out on a limb.... (Hint: I'm pissed off as hell) Next time you want to abandon me, give me a warning so I can have even more fun.

Merry Christmas!

Sarcasm will not change him. He will only know that he got to you and he can use this as ammunition in the future. I think the best thing you can do is not bring up that he didn't show up, and if the subject comes up, convince him that you had a great time anyway, maybe even act surprised because you "forgot" he was supposed to show up. I'd consider the validity of the relationship if this is regular behavior for him though.

I know you must feel really hurt right now, but first try to consider HIS side. Maybe something came up. You don't want to sound sarcastic right away without hearing his reason behind not showing up.

But...just to answer your question:
Was it a party you were supposed to go to? If he tries calling you back or emailing you, you could say, "Sorry, cocktail hour already ended."

I think what you have was good though.

Try this: I had a great time last night(or whenever) we joked for hours and it was really fun. I felt a connection that I hadn't felt in a very long time. By the way where were you? Eventually I realized that you weren't around. I hope you had fun.

you have come to the right place hon, I'm an expert sarcast, and I have a better idea for you, call him, ask him over to your place, and promise him the hottest night of his life, then go over to your girlfriends house and spend the night there, then when you see him next you tell him, we are even now.

"I had the best time ever with you the other night. I love your new hair cut and your new clothes, they made you look like a completely different person. We've never had sex that amazing before. I can't wait to see you again!"

Don't say that. It leaves you open to get a warning next time. He needs to be the first to contact you in order to redeem himself. If he doesn't then he is not worth your time. Do not contact him first! If he doesn't answer you will just feel horrible.
