You should use it for whatever suits you. If it's gaming, then make it into a gaming room. It could also be turned into a home office,a sewing room, guest bedroom, exercise room. My neighbors turned their spare bedroom into a huge closet to store all their clothes, shoes and accessories in them. They installed racks for hanging, shelves for folded items, shoe trees, and they keep their ironing :"stuff in there too. If you have no need for any of the above, use it as a storage room.

I made my spare room into a sewing/craft room. I have everything that has to do with sewing/crafts in one room. I bought an "u" shaped desk and made it my sewing center, I cut out patterns, do crafts, and in the drawers I have all the supplies. If you don't do crafts, you could make it a get-away place for yourself to have some peace and quiet.I'm sure you'll come up with an idea. Good luck.

How about an exercise room? Everyone can use one of those. Just make sure you get some equipment you will want to use. A treadmill with a power incline is an excellent choice. It all depends on what you want to do. The choices are endless.

Make it into a meditation room where you can detach yourself from the everyday grind and stress. All you need to put in the room is a ceramic incense holder. You'll be amazed at the calming and centering feeling you get from the smell of pine incense. Remember, "detached compassion is the ideal state for humans".

Make a study room or leisure room. No television or anything like that, just add a comfortable atmosphere and some plants. Make it a decor room where you try out new decoration tecniques.

It really depends hun....if I were a designer, I would study your home to see what kind of collections and interests you have. Then and only then would I make a suggestion as to what kind of room to make. I mean if I suggest a gaming room and you hate games....then what.
