Don't propose on Christmas. Do it Christmas Eve maybe but Christmas is "Jesus' day." And like I tell every single person that asks this question....IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW YOU PROPOSE, WHAT MATTERS IS WHAT YOU SAY WHEN YOU ARE PROPOSING. I could have been asked in an alleyway next to a dumpster in the ghetto but the way he told me he wanted to marry me would make me forget all of that!

Be creative anyone can find a hotspot. Take her for a hot air baloon ride or a Ferris wheel ride and pay the operator to stop it when your at the very top and tell her you would give her the world but right now let her pick a corner to start out with. Then when you have kids and you tell them they can Oh dad you didn't do that. Make it fun and special, something you do not usually do. Mke this the first memorable moment of your life together.

this might be kind of expensive, but if you know how to ski/snowboard, then get lift tickets and go to the top of a mountain. Either while on the lift or at the top of a slope, propose. Just dont drop the ring off the lift!! ;)
you could also possibly say that you are going to take a picture of you 2 in the snow, so set your camera to timer, and propose just as it flashes!
good luck to you!

Oh congratulations!!! I'm excited for you and your girlfriend!! Ok so let's see here... Ideas have you thought about having a waiter at a nice place allow you to place her ring in a glass of champane?Without her knowing of course... She'd never expect that one coming.
What ever you do I am sure she will be thrilled and say YES!! And maybe pick up a pretty rose just 1 in her favorite color. May be a bit hard to find but will be worth it trust me on that one.:)
Think of all the reasons you love this lady your about to ask of marriage and before asking her to marry you let her know all those reasons. It's sure to be a memorable event in years to come.
Best of luck to you & cheers!!

I will be the evil girl that says - DON'T DO IT ON CHRISTMAS!
I was proposed to on Christmas, and as sweet and thoughtful as he tried to be, it still felt like 'well, honey, you wanted to get married, so for Christmas I got you what you wanted.' I really feel like it is a cop out to use holidays and birthdays as proposal days. I mean, you wouldn't get married on Christmas or one of your birthdays- so why get engaged then? Pick a random day and make it special for her, then she gets one day just for her. I might be crazy, but I think this shows more thought.

Do it before the holiday or after...
You want your day to be special.
If you do it on Christmas, it won't be.
Trust me on this one.
