I need a food to contain & hug around my sandwich contents. Obviously I CAN'T use bread because I'm on the Atkins. I heard lettuce works, but I HATE lettuce! (Feels like I'm eating grass). Do YOU know any alternatives?

My stepmother told me that she wraps whatever other items
inside of sandwich meat. You could put whatever tastes good to you and is low or no carb such as celery or tomatoes or chese.

Tortillas contain a lot of fats so that really isnt a good idea to use.
and it is still considered a bread
Not all types of Lettuce tastes the same. try different kinds
You could also use Endive leafs

Another tasty alternative is to slice large Portobello Mushrooms
and use that in place of bread. ummm i love Portobellos.
