I just got my class ring, and I wore it for a couple of days. I always took it off when i washed my hands and stuff so its not like it got wet or anything. But i noticed a small tanish ring on my skin where the class ring had been. It faded a little after a couple of days.
does this mean i cant wear my class ring?
its made of ultrium...is there anything i can do to prevent this reaction??

It may be that your body has a high acidity level at the moment. Some foods contribute to that (example: citrus). It wont hurt you...
If its only leaving a tanish ring and no bumps or sores on your finger I wouldn't worry about it. Double check if its the correct size for you too. (ask who you bought it from if you can speak to them in person if not ask a jewelry store their opinion of the size).

If your still concerned ask the company you purchased the ring from what your options are if you want to exchange the ring for one of a different material due to your problem..... like Sterling silver maybe.

Sometimes people use hand cream and it's the hand cream that reacts to the metal. polish the inside of the ring and be sure your finger is dry etc. before putting it on. If the problem persists you may want to go back to where you bought it and see what options you have. there are several.

it is fake... that is why... if it was made of gold then this would not have happened. just keep wearing it. as long as you don't start itching or get little red bumps/irritation you will be fine.
