Lose money, basically. The vehicle's driven, so it can't be sold as "new", and thus it can only be sold as "used". What will probably happen is it'll be consigned to the "dealer rental" and/or "courtesy car" fleet, and when it reached a certain mileage, moved to the used car lot.

This has happend to me before and there is really nothing that can be done about it. The car was on a loan from the dealer and he is entitled to take it at any moment rather it be fair or un fair.

Maybe lose a bit of money. But may well balance that loss with goodwill.
