Depending on how bad it is you might be able to locate the ingrown hair and pluck it out (you might need a needle to pull it out to the point where it can be plucked). Then a cream with salicylic acid in it should dry it up.

ice it down and if you have any face wash that contains salicylic acid..use it on the bump it dries out the skin and shrinks it down. For the redness if you have any green eyemakeup rub it on there, that will conceal it if nothing else. Good luck

You can try a product called Bikini Zone and try to shave with the grain. I tried shaving with the grain and it actually worked. Good luck.
