thats hacking but if you buy the full version, thats better.

You buy the licence, of course. If your friend was actually able to hack the programme, he committed theft. It is really no different from him making a key so he can take your car without your permission. If you want free software, go to a site like nonags.com and find freeware that will do what you want.

Full version status is stored many different ways (in registry, executable, db file, etc). If you have to ask the question, you aren't equipped to find it.

e.g.

Browse through the sites and you will get what you desire.
