I am glad to hear you are not a fundamentalist Christian. I think that can be dangerous. But there's nothing wrong with being a Christian and believing that God is all loving and all forgiving. I think that's great.

Of course it is not wrong. Fundamentalist are stuck in a latency age mentality. They can not allow themselves to mature beyond that for fear of losing their faith. You appear to be beyond that stage and this is very good. God is a God of Love and He would not Love some of His children more than others.

Read "The End of Faith" to see if it is wrong or not. If God said to follow his words, and he is infallible, then I would guess you need to follow his every word to believe in God and the Bible. If not, you are no better than us atheists, except that you may judge people due to their non-belief and you may vote to hamper progress in science (stem cell research) or social development (gay marriage). Also, read "Misquoting Jesus" and "Letter to a Christian Nation", these give those who are middle of the ground Christians a very good education in what they truly believe in.

No I don't think it's wrong and yes I think He's all forgiving and loving and I'm a practicing Catholic.

it's not wrong.....i have no denomination, and yes he is all loving and forgiving.....if you have been saved.....just my opinion on that
