He is trying to keep his options open. He probably wanted to break it off to get some action from other girls. The reason he is flirting is because he is getting shut down by other girls and figures he can come running back to you if need be. Pretty shallow if you ask me, but you can play the ignore game and make him jealous by hanging out with other guys. This will eat him alive on the inside.

Men are ignorant like that. If he has another "girlfriend" flirt in front of her just to get him in trouble. Cuz we all know woman can be ignorant to and when we want to we do it better.

He wants what he doesn't have. Absence makes the heart grow fonder or he may be testing his "power" to see if you will take his abuse of hurting your heart whenever he gets tire of you. Make his a$$ sweat for a few months.

Ignore it and move on. People always want what they don't have. He doesn't have you and isn't committed to you, so now flirting with you is fun and harmless. Don't think anything of it.
