i get an overripe avocado (i look for them at the discounted section in shops/supermarkets) and mash it up, pouring olive oil until it is the consistency of hair conditioner. then i chuck it on my hair, and cling film my head. (!!) leave it on for as long as you can. overnight is even better, depending on how ridiculous you feel. to be more effective you can wrap a warm towel over your cling-filmed head. i find its best to do this when your boyfriend is not around... we women have to preserve some mystery!!
anyway, the results are fabulous... really shiny, soft hair. i have also lately taken to putting on the glop and sitting in the sauna in my local gym. i use a shower cap - less odd looks!

OR, if you are feeling rich, go to the hair salon and ask for the keratase spa treatment - pricey but very good. esp if you feel like some pampering.

soften out hair as in cutting it to make it appear more thinner if you have thick hair?? if that's what you mean than that's the solution.. if you want to soften you hair to make it soft and silky, try a treatment & remember to use a conditioner with every wash. goodluck.

As silly as this may sound, it's VERY true (because I've used it for years).

Before you wash your hair, put a generous helping of mayonnaise in it and leave it on for a while (15+ minutes). Afterwards wash your hair as normal (making sure to get out all of the mayonnaise). Your hair will be very shiny and very silky soft.

Have a lovely rest of the evening. Happy Holidays.

I have very bad dry and damaged hair from coloring it all the time. I recently started using the Hello Hydration line from Herbal Essences, you'll see a difference after one use. 2 weeks ago I got my hair done again and even my hair dresser couldn't believe how soft my hair was without using salon products.

Mayo works and do the following (weird as they may sound): Raw eggs, beer, avocado and olive oil....all get washed out after being left on for a good 15-20 minutes...ohh and don't mix it all together, try them out and stick to the one that benefited your hair the most.

Use a conditioning shampoo and conditioner made for drr, damaged hair. Also, you may need to check your water. If it is full of minerals, you may have hard water and that can leave a coating on your hair and cause it to become coarse and rough feeling.

kindly guys! stop relying and fooling ur hair on chemical stuff. Coconut oil before shower and a towel dipped in hot water wrapped around ur hair for 15 mins will make them naturally soft.
