My daughter's Kinda shy and doesn't have many friends, I am concerned about the influence a 25 year old girl who is dating guys can have on a 17 year old girl, who hasn't had a boyfriend yet. Please share your comments..

first you should consider the disposition of her cousin. if she is a responsible adult then i don't see any problem. but if there is reason for concern( which obviously there is or you wouldn't be asking answers) i would seriously consider separating them. but you also need to consider the fact that she is almost an adult herself. most girls are responsible at her age . just a little knowledge about prevention and some sound advise from mom and dad should resolve your problem. you cant prevent the inevitable but you can advise to the best of your ability

I would base the trust on your daughter and her ability to walk away from a "bad" situation, and the cousins personality. It should have nothing to do with age/relationship alone. If the cousin is questionable in her responsibility ... then I'd watch very carefully what goes on, family or not trouble is trouble.

Depends on the maturity level of those cousins. If they are responsible and level headed and have more going for themselves than just being somebody's "baby mamma" then yeah she should be fine. If not, then I would guide her in another direction.

Maybe her older cousin will help her be less shy so there for be a good influence.
