im not too sure i want highlights just because of the maintanance. streaks would be ok though....

I would really like to help, but the second picture is not opening. Based on your picture though I think if you are changing your hair color you would look great as a dark, almost brownish red head. Because I can not see the second picture all I can say is if you love it go for what can you loose? And if you still doubt it then maybe it isnt the cut for you... but if I were you I would go to the hairdresser and get it done. Good luck! :-)

Yes, I think the cut will be great for you and I would suggest Auburn highlights or dark blonde to light brown
highlights, something for contrast, but not a big color change. My personal opinion is Auburn, your hair has a beautiful shine and this could add to it. Try the cut for a couple days, you may not want color, the cut may be enough, we can be surprised how our hair color can appear to be slightly different with a style change, because it lays different.

i would suggest the foil highlights. just a lighter shade then what you have now.
