Im serious & not complaining, but, he wants to buy me anything I lay eyes on (whatever the cost) & I'm wondering why he would feel the need to do that? we're together 2+ yrs

Is he tring to buy you love.? I read in a book that guys go through stages in a relationship and showering you with gifts was one of them. The other possibility is that he really loves you or likes you alot. By all means take the gifts with pride.... LOL! They tend to slow down when you are married. When my husband and I got together he gave me a dozen of roses a week and now it has been limited to recieving them when we are in an arguement and he is sorry. Hopefully this will not happen to you..LOL

he has a fear of loosing you.(fear of being alone or being abandoned). someone has left him in the past, maybe a girlfriend, or most likely a parent.(maybe divorce). he probably hasnt learned to bond with a female on an emotional level and isnt confident in himself, so the only way he knows is to keep you by buying you things. get some counceling or read some books on bonding on an emotional level.

He probably doesn't know how to show his love any other way. If you want him to stop then try telling him you appreciate his generosity but you rather have him and not things from him.

Girl enjoy it while u can bc many guys dont do that. they will at first thne things change. so consider yourself lucky! but just tell him that ur not like that and u appreciate the attention but its just too much!

maybe cuz he thinks he is gonna lose you and he thinks treating you right will make you see that you should stay with him. trust me, there are so many losers out there, with no money, and try to live off their gf. enjoy it!!!!

maybe he's feeling like he has to compete with someone else in your life. hmm. =) just be sure to show that you love him more than anyone else, to make him more secure.

Perhaps, you show him you're happiness every time (stimuli) or maybe he has lots of it (stimulant).
