In the name of God
Most Merciful, Most Gracious
All praise be to God
Lord of the universe
Most Merciful, Most Gracious
You alone we worship
And you alone we ask for help
Guide us on the straight path
Those on whom you've bestowed your grace
Not on those who earn your wrath and go astray

God answers prayers not Jesus :) God is testing you to see if you'll keep your faith past your own tolerance. I went through a very tough time and I remember praying day in and day out. I wanted to give up and then I just told myself "God, I will accept whatever fate you have planned for me. Just please ease the path that lies ahead of me." The next day the biggest miracle of my life happened and the issue I had prayed about was resolved. It was amazing I still feel in debt to God for all that He has done for me. It is sad that God has to make it blatantly obvious all of the things that He does for us before we give Him any credit or praise. Anyway, sorry for blabbing and I hope this is the answer to your question and your prayer heheh. Good luck, God bless and I'll pray that everything works out for you. Peace

The bible says that God does care about the way he is worshiped and that if you are NOT worshiping him according to His way that he will not even hear your prayers (see the numerous accounts of the Israelites who prayed for relief from different situations and got no answer because they were not worshiping God according to His set ways. They were only answered once they acknowledged that they needed to worship Him the way He wanted them to).
You should probably take a look at some different religions and read the bible thoroughly and try to find if the way you worship God is the way he wants to be worshipped.
God also does not do things on any human schedule. He will answer prayers in HIS own time and according to HIS will, not yours. Sometimes, the timing is just not right. Or, maybe you're praying for a specific answer. God really doesn't like to be told what to do; try wording your prayers differently and putting the problem in His hand to solve. It could be that your prayer HAS been answered and you are just not looking at it in the right way.
Last, you have to search for the answer; you can't just sit back and say "ok God, your turn." He expects you to work at it and he will HELP you; he's not going to do it FOR you. Nor is he going to fix all of your problems. Some problems cannot be fixed until his Kingdom is established on earth. He has ceased to directly get involved with the affairs of men until that time.

Prayers are answered in God's timing not ours. Don't give up, keep the faith. Obviously you have faith, you have been praying for 7 years.
Possibly the greatest reason that some prayers go unanswered is because many give-up praying and believing before they receive their answer. As long as we have the promise of God’s Word, be patient and persistent - keep believing, and don’t quit, no matter how long it takes! God has a “due season” when He will bring the answer to pass.
Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

Don't renounce your faith over something out of your control. Some things are meant to happen and some things aren't. God (no matter which God you believe in) isn't ignoring you or abandoning you. Maybe you are going through this to learn something. You can't force an answer from God. It might not be meant for you to get what you ask for. I went through hell for several years and thought I'd never come out of it. Finally the light at the end of the tunnel broke through and allthough I wish I didn't have to suffer how I did, it has shaped me as a person and made me who I am. And believe me the trials keep on coming, but we must be strong and learn to overcome. My God was there even when I thought I was lost. Your God loves you and try to keep that in mind during the rough times. Whether now or in the next life, you will find your peace.
Blessed be!

When I get frustrated in prayer, I look for a lordship problem: Am I willing to accept and respond to whatever answer God provides? Will I continue to love Him unconditionally, or does my devotion to Him hinge on whether He does what I want Him to do? Do I believe He has a purpose for everything, that His ways are superior to my ways (Isa 55), and that He will do what is best?
Some passages to mull over:
* Paul's thorn (2 Cor 12) -- God chose not to answer in order to develop Paul's character
* Job -- God tested the quality and extent of Job's devotion
* James' admonitions (James 4) -- Double check your motives
* Balaam (Num 22 - 24) -- Balaam's prayers contradicted God's plans and purposes
Remember that God jealously guards the relationship you have with Him which was purchased at great price through Jesus. He takes great pains to develop that relationship and your character. Those are eternal (John 17:3). If you find yourself threatening to give up on Him, that points to a problem at the heart of your relationship. It may be the very thing He's working out in you by delaying His response.

Religion itself is the answer. Most of the war and terror in the world at present is over religion. Most issues are centered around a few specific religions (not many Hindu ar Buddhist Terrorists getting around) but it is enough to turn any God faring citizen off. If we are looking at peace, we need to improve situations like these...
1) Attack on the Munich Airport, February 10, 1970 - Islamic Terrotists
2) "Bloody Friday," July 21, 1972 - Christian/Prodestant
3) Munich Olympic Massacre, September 5, 1972 - Palestinian attacks against Jews
4) Attack and Hijacking at the Rome Airport, December 17, 1973 - Lebanese terrorists
5) Ambassador to Afghanistan Assassinated, February 14, 1979 - denied the release of various religious figures
6) Murder of Missionaries, December 4, 1981 - murdered for religious differences
7) Temple Seizure, June 5, 1984 - Sikh terrorists in India
8) TWA Hijacking, June 14, 1985 - Hizballah
9) Soviet Diplomats Kidnapped, September 30, 1985 - Sunni Terrorists
10) Pan Am 103 Bombing, December 21, 1988 - Arab terrorists
11) World Trade Center Bombing, February 26, 1993
12) Attempted Assassination of President Bush by Iraqi Agents, April 14, 1993
13) Hebron Massacre, February 25, 1994 - Jewish attacker
14) IRA Bombing, February 9, 1996 - Catholic/Prodestant
15) Israeli Shopping Mall Bombing, September 4, 1997 - Hammas
16) Church Bombing in Tajikistan, October 1, 2000
17) Tel-Aviv Nightclub Bombing, June 1, 2001
18) Terrorist Attacks on U.S. Homeland, September 11, 2001
19) Grenade Attack on a Church in Pakistan, March 17, 2002
20) Synagogue Bombing in Tunisia, April 11, 2002
21) Car Bomb Explosion in Bali, October 12, 2002:
22) Wave of Car Bombings in Baghdad, October 27, 2003
I say scrap the religion and just treat people the way you would like to be treated. What a better world we would have if we all lived by that!

The answer could be "no".
Jesus suffered, and good came from it. God allows us to suffer because suffering makes us more humble and humility is what it takes to get into Heaven.
The example that Jesus gave us is the cross. A lot of people can't accept this. They want the risen Jesus, but they reject the crucified Jesus.
Remember that Jesus is the eternal God, so His sacrifice on the cross is also eternal. That's how His sacrifice on the cross has the power to save all who repent in the past, present, and future.
I recommend the movie "The Passion of the Christ". This shows how Jesus suffered for us in order to show us that our God can truly empathize with us in our suffering.
What's also important is that Jesus died but then raised Himself up from the dead. He then ascended into Heaven. By conquering death and ascending into glory, He showed the apostles that this world is temporary, and that if we humble ourselves and endure in this world doing God's will, that the Kingdom of Heaven is where we should be storing up our treasure.

God will bring peace in his own time and not yours. The Bible tells us that Armegeddon will begin with the governments of the world closing all of the false religions beginning with those who have claimed to be following Christ and have taught doctines of men (hellfire, the trinity, etc.) instead of doctrines of God. Satan will be abyssed soon after that and there will be peace on earth for 1,000 years. The important thing for you to do while you wait is find the narrow road that leads to life and get off the road to destruction. Will you be in the right place when it all begins or will you find yourself locked outside?

While there is religion, there will never be peace. Religion separates people into groups with different beliefs. They then argue about those different beliefs each believing they are right. This leads to hatred then war then killing. Religious differences are the biggest cause of death throughout history. You want peace then give up your separatist life and lets all live together as one. Amen.

hah!!
faith doesen't respond well to ultimatums.
belief is just that: belief.
if you believe and say that you do, you have to be aware that there is a change you might be wrong.
faith isn't called intuition.
there are many reasons why you could be in the situation you find yourself. personal choice (either yours or someone else's) could be one of them. God doesn't interfere and you only realise what he's getting at afterwards.
if you wanted an immediate response you should have tried Yahoo! Answers.
good luck. All the best.
