Well, if you KNOW that your boyfriend has cheated on you, by seeing it, first hand, then you know the trust is definitely NOT there.
I would say that if enough of your friends have told you this, because they're in the same space as he is most times, then maybe I'd consider taking their word on it, and investigating that yourself.
Your boyfriend has to PROVE that he can be trustworthy. And if your friends keep telling you that they've seen him messing around with someone else, then you need to call him on it, and get some answers. If he denies everything, then you need to let him know that you're onto him, and you know what he's doing.
Otherwise, you'll be stuck in a relationship that isn't going to do you any good, and better ditch him now, before you end up with some life-long disease or STD!!!

What reason would your friends have to lie to you? Your man most likely cheated on you. Been there too many with some of the best liars. Kick him to the curb. You'll feel a lot better dumping him before he ends up dumping you for staying with him after knowing he cheated on you.

TRUE STORY from my home town
did a little bit of work at the cemetry and the old guy told me a story of these 2 graves.
This boy and girl were a bf & gf in high school, and these two girls were jealous so they told the girl her man had been cheating on her, so the girl breaks it off with him (you know how she must of felt)
The guy couldn't deal with it and commited suicide.
When the girl found out he'd never cheated and he'd killed himself, she felt worse off than when he was "cheating".
She went off and committed suicide too.
The two girls don't know where they are now!!!

Obviously you don't trust him but you do love him, since your looking for some yahoo advice.
The lack of confidence in yourself and in him in the aspect of possibly cheating is what shows me that you don't trust him anymore.
If there is no trust what is the point?

You should believe your friends if they are the ones telling you that your man is cheating. Men have the ability of lying very well. So follow your heart if you know your man you will know if he is cheating or not they bascially tell on themselves they don't know how to cheat very well.

Dump him immediately. Once a cheater always a cheater. He will say he is sorry just to get back in your good graces, but after a while he will do it again...
He isn't sorry that he did it, he is only sorry he got caught.
