Calm down. What you are seeing is the enlarged pore and hole left in the skin when you removed the whitehead. You forced a great deal of thick goo through a tiny spot meant to let out a much thinner sweat, and the pore stretched to let it out. I won't go into the lecture about picking 'cause we all know we do it on occasion. But there is a better method. When you get a big ugly one coming up, heat up a nice clean washcloth to your heat tolerance. Hold it to the spot in question until it cools. Repeat this two or three times, and again two or three times during the day. The zit will head up and drain all on it's own, and overall will heal much faster than being squeezed. Squeezing is not a good idea because you can rupture the thing under the skin surface and actually spread the mess to make more baby zits. The whitehead in question returned because you didn't let it ripen and forced the issue before it was ready. And you may well have ruptured it slightly, so you spread it to adjacent skin cells. To get it to heal faster, first lay off the makeup and all the coverup zit junk. Clean your whole face well, then give yourself a steam facial if you can (head over steaming pot of water, towel over head), for a few minutes. Get some witch hazel, put it in the fridge to cool. Then use a cotton ball to wipe your face down with, after the facial, to reclose your pores and clean the skin surface. You skin doesn't need much of your help to heal, and messing with it only makes things worse. Use the witch hazel to wipe your face with once or twice a day. It's the same basic thing as the astrigent they sell for acne, only cheaper. You will find it near the rubbing alcohol in the drug store usually.
Zits on the rise benefit from the heat and steam, because it opens pores to drain and increases blood supply to encourage healing of the skin. A steam facial once or twice a week to keep pores clean is a good idea. Also, avoiding lots of makeup helps. You are young enough to get zits, so you should have lovely skin all on your own. A bit of blush on the cheeks, cream prefered to powder, so the pores don't clog up, and avoid the foundations and powders for the same reason. Clean clean skin is much more beautiful than an overly madeup pancake, with more layered on to cover the zits it's all causing. Keep your hands clean, and avoid touching your face with hands unless you just washed them. Use a makeup remover pad to remove all traces of makeup before you go to sleep, and use the witch hazel afterwards to soothe the skin and help kill bacteria on the skin. And really, in future, try to resist popping them. It's much better for healing and prevention if you use heat and wait.

Don't worry, it will fill in. I know we're not supposed to pick but who can help it? Next time, wash your hands really good and use tissues to pop it. Then put a little benzoyl peroxide on it. I use Benzaclin which is a prescription to help keep them at bay. Ask your MD about it..

Everyone says not to pop them but how can you go out with a HUGE pimple in the middle of your face.?
I pop them sometimes but with really clean hands.
Then I use an astringent lotion to help dry them up.
Use an antiseptic cream to help heal.
