How do I get Open Recent Documents into my start menu in XP?

My emachines laid out the start menu differently than most other XP systems I've used. I want to be able to open recently opened documents from there. How do I add that back in?

Right Click Start - Properties - Customize - Advanced - Check box at the bottom > List my most recently opened documents.
