You can get whitening kits from a dentist, which have less side effects than the over the counter and are safer as well. There are also mouthwashes with whitening, such as the foaming listerine which doesn't taste great but in which has the same ingredients as the kit the dentist used with I believe a less of a percentage than the actual kits. If these don't work to your liking than I would contact your dentist and see what other options he has for you. You can also get special toothpastes from your dentist which are obviously more costly than those over the counter for whitening also. However there is a difference between stained and discolored teeth. Stains can be taken care of for the most part, but discolorization usually takes other measures by the dentist, such as vineers (which is costly like at $800 per tooth), but there are other procedures that aren't as costly. Hope this helps. Happy holidays!

Yes. It is called Toilet Duck and is available at most good shops. The key reason for the discolouring of their teeth is the unbelievable amount of oral sex they give. While we Brits may fellate our partners once a month (if they're lucky), Americans commonly perform the act between seven and eighty times per day.

Other then treating them with whitening theres not much more you can do other then avoiding things like red wine and black tea or coffee. As we get older our teeth become more yellow as the enamel becomes more translucent, so the dentin which is what gives our teeth their colour shines through the enamel more!

That's not unusual. If you buy one of those tooth-whitening tooth pastes and use it for a while, you'll be amazed. I know, I never used to think they are any good, but they are. Just give it a week or so, people will comment on your white teeth...

Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and
are expensive and inconvenient. It can also weak your enamel.
A cheap and natural tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries but certain precautions have to be taken.

DAVE,

MOST FOLK DON'T REALIZE THIS FACT , BUT TEETH NATURALLY HAVE A SLIGHT FAINT SHADE OF YELLOW. VARIOUS HABITS LIKE SMOKING OR DRINKING COFEE MAKE THE SHADE WORSE.
THIS IS CAUSED BY THE DENTIN (WHICH IS UNDERNEATH THE WHITE ENAMEL). DENTIN IS YELLOW IN COLOR, AND DEPENDING ON THE THICKNESS OF THE ENAMEL ABOVE THE DENTIN, THERE WILL BE VARIOUS DEGREES OF A YELLOWISH HUE TO THE TEETH.
SEE A DENTIST TO FIND OUT WHICH PRODUCTS/METHODS ARE AVAILABLE TO YOU FOR WHITENING YOUR TEETH.

hey,
As we get older our teeth naturally discolour and become a darker colour, this may be what u are experiencing.Unfortunately its not just smoking that cause satining there are other things such as red wine these are called extrinsic staining.what you may have is "intrinsic " staining...ie inside the tooth which cant be removed unfortunately!

Stop smoking! get some really burnt toast and rub it on your teeth and it will break away some of the built on plaque. Hope this helped you out.
