Why is it so hard to meet guys? I'm good at getting their attention... I just have a hard time KEEPING it. I'm rather shy so it's tough. I feel like there's so much pressure to be pretty, and charming, and witty, etc etc etc... Any tips on keeping them interested from the first moment?? Thanks...

And as a guy, I must be honest with you: you are probably trying too hard.
There is an unwritten rule on how society and dating works. This rule has been there for centuries:
Women choose men.
If you have an engaging personalty, an open and positive outlook, then a man will stick to you.
still some practical tips:
1) listen to what he says. look for key words in conversations, that will allow you to multi-thread the interaction. Learn to shift the topic of your conversation. For example, if you are able to shift the topic from 'nightclubs' to 'the nature of Roman aqueducts in the 60BC', then you are an artful conversationalist.
2) laugh at his jokes.
3) laugh at his jokes.
4) laugh at his jokes. I can't stress this enough. Do it, even if they aren't funny. At least try to ;]

It shouldn't be hard at all for you to meet anyone. Look at you. You're a very pretty woman. If you were with me, there's no way I would lose interest. If you just be yourself, everything will fall into place.

just be yourself. if it's the right guy for you, then it won't be so difficult to keep his attention. also, guys like mystery so don't give away everything in the first week/month/year. i'm not saying be dishonest... just don't rush things. if there's no challenge after a month, it'll be harder to keep him interested.

Keep surprising him! Sometimes the mysterious approach can really be a good thing, it'll keep him guessing what you might do, or say, next.
