ok, so i told this guy that i liked him, & he said that he's really glad that i told him ... but i don't know if he means it in a -laugh-out-loud- way or he really is happy that i told him. he told me that he kinda liked me too, but what if he lied ... ?? cuzz we haven't talked too much since, & i get the impression that he's being all shy, but what if i'm wrong ..... ??i hate stressing over this! HELP!

Guys need time to ansewer. He probably does like you but go ask him don't be afraid to go head over heels for him guys really like it when the girls the first one to make the move cuz to tell you the truth were not the best at coming forward to that sorta of stuff

He knows how you feel, so relax and see if he makes a move to ask you out. If he doesn't then you know he was just being nice when he said he liked you too.

my feeling is that he didn't want to hurt you but he is glad your being forward and telling him your feelings...but maybe being the holidays he is just busy? i don't know if he lied or not. but most guys wouldn't respond that way? i can see your confused because it seems as if he is relieved because he likes you too. then again, i'd wait to see if he calls. maybe he does like you. good luck!

you cut his game short, he wanted to chase you a bit and be the first to say "i like you" since you told him first....that makes him feel like you are leading and he is following, and that sacres him cause he thinks you are more of a 'dominate' and he is looking for more of a "submissive".......longstory short.....he is a looser....this is 2006 soon to be 2007....who cares if girl is takes the lead in the relationship?! i don't mind....in fact i would love if girl asked me out...or if she says "i like you"...but that is beside the point....anyways there is a reason why he doesn't a lady to take the lead....HE IS A CONTROL FREAK!!!! in this case he wants to control your emotions...don't think about him....if you do he is winning.....move on and forget about him.

Don't say anything more. Let him say or do the next move if he is really interested. You don't want him being turned off because you are too forward.

the guy could dig you back, and truly just be shy. Or, he may just not want to hurt your feelings. You made the move by telling him, now the ball is in his court.

You got the nerve to tell him so why not just ask him what his thoughts are on what you said. I can tell anyone I like them but what does it mean. Like him as a buddy or as in I want it to go further in a relationship?
