Do they only go for looks?

no only boys are purely visual, when they grow up, whenever that ends up being, I was fortunate to grow past that point when I was 13 but I know many people age 16 (my age) who only go for looks and therefore are very childish.

If you put a gun to my head and asked for a Yes or No answer, I would say No.
No, men do not go only for looks. I never had this discussion with other men, but it seems that when it comes to men, attraction is not a choice.
We do not choose who we are attracted to, many things influence and tickle our 'attraction receptors'. But, in a situation when a man's evaluation of women around him is constrained purely by vision, the prettiest girl will be his centre of attention.
e.g. a guy is in a club. There is a dozen of women around him, but he can't hear them, he can't smell them, he can't touch them. He can only see them. As a result, he holds his eye-contact on the one he finds most visually appealing.
but then, there is a whole different argument parrallel to this one: What is "looks"? How do you judge "looks"? What physical qualities are perceived to contribute to "qood looks"?

not purely. guys have to be attracted to the girl if there's going to be any sparks... and that's initial contact. looks are subjective. what i find attractive, joe over there might not. after that, there's personality, sense of humor, intelligence, interests. and chemistry is very important.

no we dont and its the same for you gals, you aint all visual either cause I mean I consider myself to be dam ugly but my partner thinks I'm hot and she loves me, and well she is hot!!!!! all the guys look at her in the street but yeah they aint going to be getting her off me what so ever...
