No. I like a woman who can take care of herself. I also like women who wear little to no makeup so I can see what their face actually looks like.

1) Independant and self supporting - NO
2) Owns her own power tools and uses them - NO
3) Speaks her mind and stands up for herself - NO
4) Never wears makeup or dresses - NO
5) Doesn't _need_ a man to feel complete - NO
Each one of those - or any in combination - is not a turn off to me at all. In fact, I would be attracted to a woman that is self-confident and secure. However, if any or all of that comes with an attitude, I doubt that any guy would give you more than two seconds.
Remember, the end result of complete self-actualization is alienation.

INDEPENDANT AND SELF SUPPORTING:
For ninety percent of our history women have provided ninety percent of our diet. When the hunting got bad, and humans-naturally aren't equiped very good for hunting, the men used to limp back to the camp or cave to be fed the nut, roots, fruits, grains and berries the women had picked. Independant and self supporting. I'd say for most of history not only have women been indepenant and self supporting, but also supporting us. And it has been a good and benificial thing. We are where we are today. One of a women's attributes is caring. And this, especially in it's femininity turns me on.
OWNS HER OWN POWER TOOLS AND USES THEM:
Women are human beings and being that they have a flexibility of capabilties. Unlike the animal kingdom. A women who would own and use her own power tools shows capability, skill and hand manipulation, down to earth practicality, reliability and a certain class. Wow.
SPEAKS HER MIND AND STANDS UP FOR HERSELF:
Women are part of the species. A species depends on good DNA to prosper. One would want one's children to be intelligent and have moral fibre. And if their mothers have it, then thats a good start. I am an intelligent sentian creature. I like to have relationships with others who have also intelligence and the moral fibre to speak up for themselves. I said a relationship, not an ownership, not a stewartship, not a foolship-but a relationship, with someone I would find interesting. A women with mind and moral is an exciting person but stable, a very lovely and wonderful person to be with.
NEVER WEARS MAKE UP OR DRESSES:
Make up or dresses will not keep you warm, cuddly and cosy in bed on a cold night. Nor will it do all the other things that can be done every night. But a sensuous warm and fun loving body can. Dress and make up might be embellishments. But really, in the scheme of things, you'd need a magnifying glass to see their importance. Relationships are PEOPLE to PEOPLE. Not people to things. If I want a relationship with things, I'll develope a fetish.
But I want a relationship with a PERSON. Never wears makeup or dresses? So what? Actually she's more likely to be an unusual person and thus much more interesting.
DOESN'T NEED A MAN TO FEEL COMPLETE:
Hey, I don't want a relationship with an imcomplete person. I want one with a complete person. Relationships don't complete you, they fulfill you. You are a complete person BEFORE you get to a relationship. This is what constitutes the basis for mature relationships. And believe me- mature relationships can be a lot of fun. Doesn't need a man to feel complete? I don't want a relationship of NEED. I want a relationship of WANT. A women with the self respect of beginning a relationship with completeness and independance is a well rounded (pardon the pun) , confident, mature, sincere and exciting woman. All the things that turn me on.
You see the men that are worried are not real men at all. For real men have enough confidence in themselves to not feel threatened by another human being and enought respect for others to acknowledge the same things in others as they acknowldge within themselves. Real men want real women, not dolls, slaves, sychophants, shrinking violets, actresses or fakes. REAL WOMEN. Women who have enough dignity within themselves to be whatever they are. For I know what I am and I am not afraid of what others are. Women, real women, confident and intelligent women , independant women, capible women, self supporting and caring women. They turn me on - and on.
UT NOBIS CORPUS ET SANTIUS FIAT. And the word and the flesh were made one.

1,2, and 3 are admirable traits in any human being.
4 wouldn't bother me. I've known some _extremely_ feminine women who never wore a dress or used make-up.
5 Well, sigh, that would be a problem. I need a girl-friend/wife/lover to feel complete. I would consider that a universal thing.

what sort of power tools are you talking about?
A man doesnt need to feel needed as much as a woman does - we like independant strong women but the tom boy-trying-to-be-a-man kinda girl is just annoying.. I think girls grow out of this stage...

1. Nope, turn on
2. Nope real turn on, as long as my chainsaw is bigger, of course.
3. You have to have that to keep the relationship going, especially if I say something to rile you up, then when you cross your arms and say "don't touch me" I'll go poke your ribs, and make you laugh again, just to see that smile I fell in love with.
4. Come on, at least one evening gown for special occasions?
5.Perfect way of thinking about love, in my opinion.

4 and 5....here's the logic...with #4, a man wants to be attracted to his mate, but more important, he wants OTHER men to be attracted to his mate. Basically, he wants to walk around the mall or grocery store with a smile on his face saying to himself "YEP, I'M WITH HER!" You don't need to where a dress or makeup for that, but he has to know that you could if he wanted you too.
and #5...every man wants to feel needed. If you don't "need" a man, but you want a man, learn how to pretend like you "need" a man.
