why would you even want to cuddle with a puppy with worms when you can take a poopie sample in to the vets along with the weight of the puppy and usually one pill will do it and save you the cost of an office visit plus it will tell you the kind of worms it has since there are many different kinds u may not see but can see under the microscope

depends on what kind of worms she has. have you had her dewormed? if not take her to a vet for obvious reasons anyway and have her dewormed and vaccinated ASAP round worms can cause, usually in children but also adults larval migrains, which is where the larva will get under your skin and crawl until they die, since we are not really a host for them, thankfully, leaving a red streak along your skin. hookworms can be fully transmitted to humans. i would reccomed not letting your puppy lick you in the face for sure, since the larva are in their poo and if a puppy eats, licks or goes near their rectum or their poo the larva will go into their mouth and that's how the larva get into their gastric system.

I think it would be foolish to assume being a human being gives you immunity from worms. It is only because we practice personal hygene and cleanliness in food preparation that we tend to be free of intestinal parasites, although I suspect many of us would be surprised to find out what dwells within us.

it can happen if only if you ingest them;
meaning if it get you hands and you eat something w/o washing them.
if they get in you mouth in any way you will get them. Get your dog wormed now. If you are worried about gettin it it must suck to have it. Think of your dog, it doesn't want them either. Take care of it now or you should not have a dog

My dog just had tapeworms and supposedly she cannot pass it on to humans beacause it comes from fleas when they bite her and get the larvae into the bloodstream. I know-- so why can't the flea just bite me? Well, humans can still get tapeworms, just not the ones in your dog. Go figure-- but u r safe (if it's tapeworms!)

Just as precuationary measure best to not allow the pup to sleep with you until ridded of the worms.

Worms carry parasites which can be hazardous to humans and other pets.

I'm sorry this sounds gross, but it's true and I'm being very blunt! The risk is very low unless you decide to eat the dog's feces, lick it's genitals or otherwise eat the proglottids (Those white wormy things that you may sometimes see moving around the dog's anus)...or allow the dog to lick your mouth.

Don't her lick your bare skin at all. Get her dewormed ASAP!
