You didn't gibve your age, so I can't tell if the hormonal problems might be triggering the headaches. Here's a link to describe those hormonal conditions:

http://www.headaches.org/consumer/topicsheets/hormones.html

I get "Cluster" headaches (the worts kind) about 3 or 4 times a month. Imitrex works great for me! When I had my MRI done, it was the longest 3 days of my life while waiting for the results. I was thinking the worst, but it turned out not to be the case.

I doubt if you have a tumor because they rarely lead to headaches. When you get a tumor, other symptoms will start, such as slurred speech, loss of balance, loss of memory, and more... There's a link I've included that describes Tumors. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Regardless, have your Doc schedule an MRI to be done just to eliminate a tumor diagnosis. He can also try to diagnose what kind of headaches you are having. Just so you know, there are over 150 DIFFERENT TYPES of headaches!

This types is actually pretty common because the culprit is usually odorless and tasetless, and it takes a few weeks to figure out what the cause is:

Here's some great links:

Brain Tumors:

Headaches:

This site will help you under what type of headache it is you are suffering from by describing the symptoms of the different categories of headaches:

Good Luck! You can live with headaches. I have for about 8 years now. Imitrex works! (Pronounced "Em-uh-treks)

I'm know your probably scared and feel a little paniced. Let me give you some advice as some one who has lost a loved one to a brain tumor. Also as some one who is a hypochondriac and does tons of research on health issues. First of all pressure or tension head aches are extremely common. I had this a few weeks ago and was scared to death that I might have a brain aneurism. Well it's also very common for people that are experiencing strange headaches to assume the worst when realy it's nothing. The thing that worked for me was getting a profesional massage. Even the massage therapist assumed I was havin head aches. She said I had alot of tension I'm my neck and shoulders. Drink lots of water and get plenty of rest. If your under alot of stress and anxiety then it can bring on very strange symptoms like what you are describing. Your body goes into fight or flight mode and I it gets stuck in that mode your body is in a constant state of thinking something bad is going to happen and that just snow balls until you have a full blown anxiety attack. Don't panic and don't worry. If you are realy scared go to your local emergency room or see a dr and ask for an MRI or a ct scan. This should help give you an answer. Ps if you do a google search of symptoms of brain tumors you will find all kinds of information. Good luck to you!

Call your doctor. It's unlikely that anyone here is able to offer you any reliable medical advice. Even if there were a doctor here, without examining you she probably couldn't give a diagnosis.

Lots of things can cause headaches, not all of them tumors. Some of them are bad, and some of them are just troublesome. Still, I would call your doctor when you are next able to. Don't wait. The longer you wait, the more difficult it might be to deal with what's wrong.

In manufacturing there is a rule of thumb.... the sooner you find a problem, the less expensive it is to deal with. With illness, it's kind of the same; dealing with a cold is easier than dealing with pneumonia.

Good luck.

It sounds like severe migraine condition or cluster headaches. They seem to go on forever and can even start affecting your sanity if they go on for a long time.
I wouldn't think it's a brain tumour from what little you've told me, but I have suffered the same thing you have and it turned out to be migraine/cluster headaches.
Go to the E.R. and see if they can give you a shot of morphine or demerol.
Then get hold of some Imitrex(sumitriptan succinate), and go home, find a dark room, surround yourself with cool pillows and try to sleep it off.
Nevertheless, if this has gone on this long, you need to get to an E.R.

God Bless and thanks for reading.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

For real, you come here for advice?
Seriously, talk to the doctor again about the results of what he gave you take so he can try something else. And try getting a second oppinion. Much better than asking a bunch of total strangers for advice on something serious with your health.
