I have been with my boyfriend for almost 7 months now. We broke up once on Thanksgiving , because we both realized how different we were. It wasn't because we lost feelings for each other or anything, but simply because we are vastly too different. Different friends, raised up differently, different habits and etc. After the break up, we both can't put up with this, so we got back together two days later. I suggested that we will decide if we should be together or not after a month, and to see if we can change/accomodate each other's differences. The month ends on Christmas. I'm not sure if I'm seeing any differences, and I'm not sure if I can put up with this in the long run. I still love him and he loves me, but I really don't know what to do. Break up or stay together and see what happens? Please answer before christmas! Thanks!

my bf and i are complete opposites. my idea of a nice evening is going to the ballet, while his is going to his buddies house and getting wasted. i like josh groba, he likes rob zombie. sometimes it can be hard because we both have to accomodate each other BUT would you really want to be with someone like yourself? it would get so boring and being with someone different than yourself can open you up to a new way of things and in the end you guys might not be so different if you give it a chance.

Stay with him.
As many say; 'Opposites attract'
It would only NOT work if you both didn't love each other or one loved the other and the other didn't and so on...
I say you stay together, forget your differences and have a Merry Christmas!
[unless the other doesn't want to stay, then you are officially free to move on]

Well I don't know who wrote a law that says two people have to be exactly alike to have a good r/ship with each other. Being different, you can each add your own opinions/viewpoints to the r/ship and make each other bigger and stronger people. I don't understand why that has to be a deal breaker. If you love each other, I would say go with it as long as there is love. Those differences sound relatively shallow. Relax and go with the flow and enjoy what you have.

I know that this may not be what you want to hear, BUT if you haven't noticed a change in the month maybe it is time to move on. I would still be friends, heck maybe sometime down the road you will both see that you are exactly what the other needs. Hope this helps!!

If you love him and your feelings surpass your tolerance of the differences, then by all means stay together. But if you will be unhappy struggling to make it work over a long time with no resolution then say farewell. Good luck.

Well i belive that love is a sacrifice. so if u n ur mate hav different percept n all that both of u n ur mate should respect each other behaviour if ur love is strong then there will be no problem in this.
Just put urself in his shoe n same 4 him n think u will be happy always.
Best Of Luck!

try to stay together if you can if you love each other
but if your differences are too much and neither can handle it or change
you may just have to let go

this one is really hard. what i have to say is that look at the way he handles situations. or just simply ask him if he's saw any changes.
