I have just emigrated to Australia from the UK. My cat is currently in quarantine for 30 days, but when she comes to my new house, when can I let her out? Any tips would be appreciated.

Why would you want to let your cat go outside.
In my family there are 7 cats altogether, none
of them are outdoor cats and they are just
doing fine.
At least let her get used to your new home and country.
When she has acclimatizes herself maybe in your fenced
backyard. But do not let her roam. Australia is not the UK.
Do you actually realize how traumatizing this move is
for your cat?

You shouldn't let her out- Australia's native wildlife can be dangerous for a small cat. Cats live longer, healthier lives as indoor pets.

feed her well for a couple weeks and make her feel really loved and wanted.I would get her spayed and keep her inside. they adapt well and lve longer. to much outside can hurt them including other cats because cats are very territorial.Good luck
