may be they are scared of the USA and Israel. they have a lot of oil and the USA might invade there country to steal it like in Iraq. so if they had nuclear weapons then that might not happen. and there is no proof that they want to develop nuclear weapons just nuclear energy. the USA told us that Saddam had all these crazy weapons so we would support the war . why should we trust the USA when they say the same thing about Iran. who is the real aggressor USA or Iran how many countries has Iran invaded how many kids have you seen running out of there houses with there skins hanging of after being napalmed by Iran. how many times has Iran sent its intelligence agency's over to other countries and plot over throws of democratically elected leaders. and then replace them with dictators murders and torturers. how many mad men has Iran given chemical weapons to use on its own people. we are being brainwashed by the government and there media companies in to thinking that Iran is a threat so when the time come to invade it then they can justify our troops dying for there hidden cause. America please wake up for the sake of the world and its peace . a minority of people out of billions have all the power and they are abusing it very seriously. they are gaining even more from these wars and our sons brothers and sisters are dying .

Well, I have a profound animosity for nuclear weapon development. But, if small nations, such as Iran and Israel were allowed to nuke each other before they got too big, we'd certainly have fewer people around of the sort who wanted to use nuclear weapons anymore. Sorta like adding a toxic dose of chloride to the gene pool. But, since the United States is the only nation that has ever stooped so low as to actually use nuclear weapons and has set the "standard" for how nations should conduct themselves, and, since arms dealers in the United States are encouraged to sell the technology and weaponry to small nations and have caused the current situation of neolithic tribal peoples and religious fanatics possessing the means to make nuclear weapons, one cannot ethically blame Iran, or any other small nation, for just keeping up with the big boys. "Do as I say and not as I do" doesn't work while tending to our families. It certainly doesn't work while tending to the world.

Not much! USA, Israel, India, Pakistan, Korea all have a nuclear program. Iran can talk a big talk about Israel but the truth is Israel is far better equipped with weapons than Iran and Israel also has full support of the big dog US of A.

I firmly believe that Iran only wants a nuclear program for one reason and that is to destroy Israel. This would be a very bad situation if they were to achieve full nuclear capability.

They want nuclear weapons for one reason...so the West won't invade and remove them from power. It's the only way that Kim Jong Ill is still in power. They're just following his formula....the formula is two parts.
1. Convince the world that you have nuclear weapons.
2. Pretend like you're absolutely bum-**** crazy and that if anyone invades you you'll set it off.
Works for North Korea, probably will work for Iran.

Well... with the preface that Iran's current government wants to wipe Israel off the face of the planet... (i don't want to get too preachy but in a biblical sense... that would be a bad thing mkay)... that yes, they're using/going to use/want to use the Uranium enrichment program to develop weapons, and i don't believe that Iran's government is (for lack of a better word) smart enough to not use said weapons should they develop them

considering they have sworn to wipe Israel of the face of the earth I would think Israel will have no choice but to bomb their reactors. Iran has no need of neclear power. They are sitting on a sea of oil which is cheaper than nuclear power. The only reason for their nuke program is a bomb to use on Israel.

They'll probably manage a weapon in the next ten or fifteen years, and depending on local politics it's quite likely they'll stay quiet about it. Then one day Tel Aviv will disappear, and we'll all wonder who did it.
