can you make out without using tongue?

im talking about open mouthed kissing, but no tongue action... is it still conidered making out?

That's what my folks call 'pashing'
Making out, as defined by friends, is one body connecting with another, such as tonguing and other things one wouldn't put on a public chat.

I dont like it either....I thought was the only one....I kiss necks, shoulders lips...no open mouth...its normal to me now....but i thought it was strange.........
