Okay my friend always looks horrible. She never fixes her hair, her clothes always has holes in them, she never brushes her teeth or takes care of her face or her nails. Theyre always dirty! She has funky feet and she smokes! I tried to fix her up but she refuses! People talk about her and she doesnt realize it. What can i do to convince her shes embrassing me and ruining my life too!!

Offer to give her a make over. Do her hair and make up for her and then hopefully she will like it and continue on with it. Offer to spend a day with her at the nail salon, get a manicure and pedicure. She may like to feel like a lady if you introduce her to it.

Don't be mean, if you are really a good friend to her then you should not care how she looks or be embarrassed around her. Maybe she doesn't have any money to fix herself up. Don't force her to change, let her brush her teeth when she feels like it. If other people talk about her, you should defend her because she's your friend. Otherwise, go find another friend because she doesn't deserve a friend who's going to judge her as much as you do.

ok first off...your not a very good friend!! That is the truth. Tell her the truth. but if she is ganna change she is ganna do it for her not you! To be honest if I was her I would stop hanging out with you completly. You are too self absorbed and you need to get over your self. how old are you...hmm lets see your friend smokes maybe she is around 18 that would put you in that age range too. yeah time to grow up. I mean take a step back and look at what you are thinking! You want your friend to change who she is because it will make you look better. Yeah your not a good friend at all, and yes I am telling it how it is. good luck

What kind of friend r u if ur trying 2 change her? She may not see any of this as a problem and u just don't know it. In the first sentence u called her ur sister then in the next sentence u called her ur friend, it doesn't matter which one she truly is if u luv her then let her be. Once she gets tried of herself then maybe she will change until then just be her friend, if u have dealt with it this long then so be it.

i agree.... if she doesnt want to change then there nuttin u can do to help her just tell her that if u dont care wat ppl think n say bout the way u r then okay keep it up but if u do then can u plz do something to take care of urself.... but if u were really her friend then you wouldnt really care cuz u like her for who she is....... stop tryin to fix her up if she doesnt want to.... from wat i c u care bout how ppl act cuz u dont want to be embarrassed or watever, in a way dat is very selfish of u cuz okay she embarassin n ruinin ur life then y r u still friends with her then huh..... a friend would call u a retard n laugh at you but a best friend would call u a retard n act like one with you..... if she really did care then she would change on her own work with her then good luck >.<

If she's not willing to listen to you, about the only thing you can do is to stop hanging around her until she chooses to start taking care of her hygiene. Tell her if she doesnt start taking better care of herself, you'll have to stop being with her. You shouldnt have to stoop to her level just to have a friend.

Perhaps she doesn't care what people think of her. Perhaps she doesn't care what you think either. Your the only one embarrassed, so that means your the one with the problem. You need to get over it, or you need not be her friend anymore.

Tell her the truth. That's what friends do. If it ruins the friendship, its her loss not yours.

Be honest with her, and use tact. Ask her if she ever wants to date and remind her you are willing to help
