Does he like me or is he just a good Gentleman??

I like this guy.He is a real gentleman.We went to a fancy dinner together.He opened car doors,poured my water,pulled out chairs, payed for everything,a real gentleman.He kept leaning in close to me and kind of half whispering like he only wanted us to hear, as he talked about casual stuff. He told me how beautiful i looked that nite like 3-4 times.My friends all think he likes me cuz he did tha.This girl, one of his good friends keeps saying that she doesn't think he does,but he's really sweet to me.don't know if he actually likes me or if he was just being a gentleman like he was brought up to be(cuz his dad is).What kind of body language when he talks to me tells me if he likes me or not?one person says she doesn't thnk he might,but more think he might like me. I dont know what to think.I dont want to think he DOES like me and then find out he is just polite and really doesn't.That would be sad, cuz i like im alot.He also called me-to someone else he saidI was "His girl, and date"idk

Who asked to go to this dinner? Do you or he set up the date? If it was him and he was acting the way you say, I would say he likes you. If you asked him, he could just be being a gentleman. Either way, just play it cool. Let him make the moves, as in calling, texting, et cetera. Do not give him a clear indication that you like him. Let him chase YOU! Most guys really fall for girls that they have to chase and treat like a lady. If he called you his date or HIS girl, that's a very good indication he likes you. Also, the friend may just be jealous. Take her with a grain of salt.

Ok, lets just cut to the chase, ask him if he likes you.

You can ask this boldly, just straight up. Or, you could ease into it. Tell him, "I really like being with you" or "I had so much fun with you, you really seem like a nice/cool/or whatever adjective you choose to add" and then most likely he'll say "me too" or just give you a more direct answer.

But guessing and wondering is just going to drive you crazy so whether you hit the nail on the head or beat around the bush, just make sure you get HIS answer on whether or not he likes you, NOT SOMEONE ELSES analysis.

When a guy likes you, you can see it in his eyes. He has this twinkle in his eyes and he is smiling the whole time when he is with you. If he is taking you to dinner and being all close to you when you are talking, then I would have to say, he is definetely into you. And this one friend who is telling you otherwise, sounds kind of jealous.

i think he is both. its possible to be a gentleman and also like someone. he seems nice to me. the friend that thinks he doesnt like you is prob just jealos! talk alot to the guy. become close and walla! but if like nothing happens like he says he likes you yadayada then once really really close ask him, do u like me? but make sure to say i like you sometime in the convo.
