I think I would like to see monks fighting eachother with crowbars. That's got to be fantastic!

he he...the story is quite different.the rebels go with the old calendar while their opponents where sent to esfigmenou monastery to replace them, by the patriarch.the same happened last year...by the way i always wanted to inform people in here that the athos state-the third leg of the chalkidiki peninsula-has been a sacred place for 3000 years...and it was devoted as well to a female deity-now it is to mother mary-....also no woman was allowed to set foot then and now.the christians copied the whole concept as it was!!!people refuse to progress for more than 2000 years

I think they are all disgraceful and should be ashamed of themselves. How could any person suppose to be representing GOD act in such a way? Jesus told us to turn the other cheek.
