no idea.but the actual forest is the best model.forest is consist of multi species of plants and this wonderful combinations of diff. plants and trees makes the forest(tropics) self sustainable.legume provides the fixation of nitrates in the soil that help other plants to attain optimum vegetative stage.some have root system that can hold soil water much longer to keep the surrounding moist all year round.etc.....!
