I liked this guy for a long time. I told him last school year and got response i didn't like. I find out from my friends that he does like me but do i wait? He doesn't seem like he would ask me out.

ok you dont have to tell him flat out just hang around him more and act like you like him flirt with him listen to him when he talks to oy u and act like you care he should get the hint after a while and it hurts less if he doesnt like you

Ask HIM out. He's probably got some fears or hangups. Get him alone, away from everyone, and just be friendly. Don't be over-bearing to him. Let the relationship evolve in time. If he does like you, he may WANT to be alone with you.
