She wants a me 2 get somthing cheap because she got a chep car when she was 16

Well it'll cost ALOT more if you got an expensive car and wreck it. BUT you could argue that the more expensive car may be safer than the cheaper one. Good luck!

Why not to buy an expensive car.
1. Insurance will be higher on an expensive car, especially for someone just starting to drive.
2. Expensive cars usually have expensive maintenance and repair costs, cheaper cars usually have cheaper maintenance and repair costs.
3. If you get into an accident, or bump something, or burn the engine up, it will be less expensive to repair a cheaper car, or it won't be as much of a loss if it's too much to repair.
Reasons to not spend the money.
1. Why spend more when you don't have to? There are plenty of cars just as safe and reliable, some even more so than the BMW for less than what it would cost both to purchase, and with less expensive maintenance.
2. Many higher-priced cars drop in value a lot faster than value-priced cars, which is essentially throwing even more money away than on a cheaper car.
3. Money doesn't grow on trees, most people have to work hard to earn it.

Back off and let your folks sort this out. (My money is on Mom on this one, though!)
Money isn't necessarliy the issue, I'll bet. A Bimmer is not a wise choice for a new driver.
But on the financial side the Bimmer will cost a LOT more to insure and maintain.
I've got money too, but I don't waste it. That's one of the primary reasons that I have money in the first place.

At 15 you do not need a car like that. Get something less expensive or get a good summer job and pay for it yourself. If it is handed to you you will not respect it and you will not appreciate what it is worth.
