LOL it is very cultural. Can you expect the same? Maybe maybe not. Times are changin' ya know. If I may explain.
I live in New Mexico and when I wasnt here I was mostly in Texas so I know many Mexican people.
Here is my assesment. Many Mexican women are actually looking into non-mexican relationships. Many women that I know say they watched thier moms have to serve thier husband and the husband expects this to be done and they dont want to be in a relationship like that. It goes beyond serving dinner...its staying home, having a family, staying at home ect. I have heard many mexican women say flat out they wont marry a Mexican man because of the cultural expectations.
In an odd twist I have seen Mexican men lean towards having a relationship with a white women. Why because white women are taking on a cultural shift where they want to be back in the home as full time moms and wives. White women pioneered free use of birth control so we could get out of the house. Then we went and got careers and thought "ok this was great but I want to be with my family now".
Of course by reading this you can guess I am white. Personally I am the type if I stayed home tending house I would go bananas. My 2 sisters on the other hand have both married Mexican guys.
One sister it is expected that she stay home, clean house, take care of kids and cook and serve dinner. Honestly it drives me crazy to watch this...(she also complains about it...so I am left thinking "why do you put up with it")
I cook and on occassion fix a plate for my hubby but the first time he told me to do it I would probably whack him with a frying pan. :)

It is a Mexican family tradition that women takes care of the household while the men earns the livelihood. Thus, women serves at home including the preparation of dinner. It is not like in other countries when women also work just like men.

that is a stupid question. Do you imagine they basically do it for dinner and under no circumstances breakfast or lunch? Is it uncomplicated for all of us women human beings to serve some thing? Race has not some thing to do with it. Im confident women human beings of all cultures serve adult males, and little ones in a large number of procedures.

That is not entirely true, however, there are still a lot of remains of a very "machismo" culture in Mexico (specially in small towns) where women is expected to take care of all household activities, and that includes cooking and serving dinner

This is the way Mexican and Asian are raised. But if the women are smart and here in the US, they need to learn to stand up for themselves, and be more self reliant, and not act like their men's servants....we are all equal. Men can cook, etc just as good as women can if not better.

All Hispanic women treat their husband with respect.
They tend to all their needs, they really mean it when they
take the vow of obedience.

I've witness women getting up very early to prepare hot lunches
for their hubbies....

I love this about this ethnic group. Kudos to all Hispanic women.

It is a tradition in most mexican/hispanic families. If you get your husband used to it, then he will expect it, so just don't do it to begin with.
