Depends on t he BRAND name. You can get it for $1 if you go to the dollar store or similar store. It can also cost $5 or more elsewhere.

True cinnamon is made from the bark of the cinnamon tree. Try to buy the sticks, which is actually dried curled bark, and grate it yourself. It's about 4.00 for two sticks. If you're going to buy already ground cinnamon, DO NOT buy the cheap stuff!!! That is mostly ground cardamom, which is related to cinnamon, with some cinnamon added, to make it legal, but not much. And you won't get the same health benefits as you would with freshly grated real cinnamon.

Go to Dollar General; sometimes they have spices 2 for $1.00, which is the cheapest you'll find it anywhere. Dollar Tree sells it for $1, as does Save-a-lot. Walmart may have an "off brand" for just over a buck,but cinnamon is cinnamon no matter what the brand.

Powdered? couple of bucks in the grocery spice isle.
Sticks? Little more for whole sticks (short & long) also found in grocery spice isle. for cheapest place, try Sams, Costco or Gordon's
Can also get it at health food store....probably freshest there (stay away from cheap places that tend to get left-over stock from grocers) it can get stale and lose intensity and flavor
