I think that you should get a recipe book from persia and pick out a meal that you feel she would like and cook her a persian meal.

Drop the fact she has Persian roots. She is here and she has lived here for a long time so treat her like everybody else. Persians are really Iranians. What from Iran can somebody possibly want other then a nasty temper? Most women in their early 20's like a little bling bling and I don't care what part of the world they are from. They like the bling. If she is just a friend then tickets to an afternoon movie. If you want her to be more then just a friend then a dinner theater is nice, just don't forget the bling bling.....

Oh, really? my family is Persian and we have lived here all my life. Anyway, you should get her something Persian. Like get her a CD, or painting. Or a scrapbook(you can make that) You can put pictures and stuff. Many Persians love vibrant colors, so if you get her something fun, I am sure she will love it. Good Luck, and Best Wishes!

If she's lived here most of her life, forget about the Persian heritage and focus on her likes and dislikes. Music, clothes, toiletries, etc. Shop for her like you would anyone else.
