Liberia a country on the West coast of Africa was founded in 1821, when officials of the American Colonization Society were granted possession of Cape Montserado by local Indigenous Chiefs for the settlement of freed African-American slaves. Both of the CONSTITUTIONS state clearly that citizenship belongs to African Americans. It goes on to state, " In order to preserve, foster and maintain the positive Liberian culture, values and character, only persons who are African American or of African American descent will qualify by birth or by naturalization to be citizens of Liberia." The Government needs to AUTOMATICALLY GRANT, African Americans full citizenship to get the country back to some sort of normality.
