This question is inconsequential, but the question of whether you believe in creation or evolution is what really matters. If a species was created abruptly, then a chicken-and-egg question make sense. But if that species evolved, then there was no first chicken, and there was no first egg.

Yeah the chicken comes first because in order for the egg to crack and become a little chick, you have to have a chicken to warm it.

this question would possibly no longer relatively be as paradoxical as you think of. you notice, fossil archives have shown that egg-laying animals existed in the past the poultry or certainly any poultry. for this reason, if one ought to pass away it at that, the egg got here first. yet what if via bearing on egg, you mean poultry egg? the respond then relies upon on the definition of a poultry egg. Or greater especially, is a poultry egg an egg layed via a poultry, or an egg containing a poultry? As infertile eggs are nonetheless noted as poultry eggs, a poultry egg is an egg layed via a poultry. this suggests that a species that should very just about be genetically noted as a poultry ought to have come first to offer a poultry egg. despite in case you have faith in Creationism, the respond continues to be the poultry. In Genesis, god created the creatures in the international of their totally grown grownup type, as detrimental to easily after the point of fertilisation.

In the beginning, Adam asked Eve
to cook him some breakfast. She told
him to do it himself… so he did. (She
was busy eating an apple that some
strange dude was feeding her.)
Anyway, Adam wanted bacon and eggs, but
there was no eggs.. only chickens and
pigs… so he had bacon and chicken.
Southern Fried Chicken, mind you.

But he longed for fried eggs, so one day,he
looked at the pig and said, "Pig, lay me an
egg." . Pig grunted and groaned, but pig just couldn’t do it.. so Adam told the
chicken, "Chicken, lay me an egg" . Chicken cackled and pucked… and then.. “Presto”
breakfast…
So without the chicken, there would be no eggs.
