Short answer: I WISH!

Long answer: I was a bike messenger in New York City, and my favorite day I ever worked in the city was Labor Day, the streets were dead, hardly any cars (relatively speaking) and the weather was beautiful! However, I bet if I had been on the NJ Turnpike that day, it would've been a nightmare, so I guess it depends on where you are.
