Yes God can be Defined. The meaning of God is given in Qur'an, Chapter 112:
Any one who falls in the criteria or the four line defenation is God
"
Say: He is Allah, the One and Only
Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
And there is none like unto Him.
"

Hope this answers your question

Yes, God can be defined. Gods are defined in many ways. The Christian God is defined by the Bible. In there, you can find claims about what this god supposedly did. This leaves a lot about God undefined, but there are some claims you can check the validity of.

Unfortunately, the Christian God fails this test. For example, the Bible is supposedly inspired by God, but it doesn't live up to that standard. There are numerous flaws and contradictions in the Bible. The Bible also states that God is unchanging, yet from story to story God comes off as having split personalities.

You can make the same analysis of other gods that have been defined enough. You'll find, if your honest with your comparisons, that none of them really exist.

yes, for this people are going to hate me. If you say god can be defined, then that means you "know" the god. If you say god cannot be defined, then again, that means you "know" the god, because you know that god is beyond defination. There are only three options- 1. There is god, 2. There is no god, and 3. There was a god, which means a god was there, but after his job or act was finished he got extincted. Or, transformed into something else. There is also one possibility that a god is there but he has nothing to do with us.

the bible would love to define God for you, but sadly, the bible doesn't tell you everything that is important. The Catholics define God as a rathful man who has to send saints to send his message and the pope is the only one that God talks to. (wich i might add isn't God chosen but man chosen), Lutherans define God as all forgiving and loving, as do some Episcopalians and Methodists are laid back and think Gods a cool GUY. God is undifinable. It is not a man (as the bible says) nor is It a woman (as some feminists like to believe) every one tries to define God. (i dont know about the Muslims or Jews because I never learnd much about them damn society). The only thing that we have to know about God is that It is all powerful, so powerful, that our small minds cannot even begin to comprehend. Douglas Adams likes to think that God is a mistakeful being with an ironic sence of humor. some define God as inmistakeable and perfect. my only answer for you, is that God is whom or what ever you define God as. God could be your next door neighbor that lent you that skrewdriver once, or a lump of green puddy you found in your pocket one midsummer's morning. you define God for your self. No one can tell you who or what God is to you. Only you can do that for your self.

Not really. God has been Defined in the Quraan, Bible etc... But as humans we cannot describe or define God, only by what we Know from the Quraan etc... Example..it says in the Quraan that ALLAH (GOD) is the Most Merciful, ALLAH is Almighty. But it varies on beliefs. As a Muslim I beleive that God is one and like no one, he has no partner nor a son, nor any relatives etc...and Dont know how he looks...

I personally don't believe that any Human has ever been able to grasp the true meaning of God. Just look around you and see what horrors are being perpetrated in "His" name, and they will all tell you that they understand what God wants, and are doing his work as they machine gun their neighbours.

We have limited knowledge of God, but His 99 attributes are a good start, as well as 'There is no god but the one True God'.

Peace.

neither Bible nor Quran knows anything about the concept of God.... this concept is more then what we think. God has nothing to do with any religion.
