he invited me and some friends to his Christmas party and we are trying to find the "perfect gift". He is so racist, and a bigot, he's also rich as hell - how much money should I spend, I'm thinking $100.00, is that too cheap?

Well, you can't help if he is racist since he is your boss...I would'nt want you to jeopardise your job...But racist people have very narrow minds- not even enough room for a tiny mouse..I think you should just let him be...
Spending $100.00 is okay I think, because you can always rely on the good old "It's the thought that counts" on such people without feeling heavily guilty...If not you can always say you are facing cash-flow problems....Not worth to spend a lot on such people!!

I wouldn't spend a dime on a racist anyone. I would attempt to understand why he's racist and then if it is supposedly because of the Bible, like he's using the Bible as an excuse to hate (even though the Bible doesn't say anything about one race less deserving of Christ than another...we are all equal) I would point him to the fact that Moses had an Ethiopian wife.

I think in your situation the book the Bell curve would be the perfect gift. It would be like killing two birds with one stone , the book would be like preaching to the choir until he got to the part that states Asians have a slightly higher IQ than Caucasians he may not like that part but you can pick up the book for 25 bucks.
